Honeysuckle

Meet honeysuckle. She’s one of those dogs that we could consider a true miracle. Let me explain. She was doused;covered with gasoline. Then,it happened. Her abusers set fire to her.

But that’s not where it ends. The humane society did their thing and honeysuckle was adopted by a humane society volunteer who my family became friends with months ago. Kim is going out if town do we are watching Miss Honey. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a dog this mich(sorry jojo) she’s covers in burns and scars and yet she’s the sweetest dog. She slept cuddling with me all night

My God. What is wrong with people? That is the worse thing I have ever seen. I just can’t believe a human could do that to anything, let alone a beautiful innocent pup. You guys are great people. You’re very inspirational.

what an inspiring girl!!! is the ‘hole’ on her side still healing, or is that the way it has healed with a large scar?? how amazing that honeysuckle can be so forgiving and loving, truly a buddha spirit among us!!! she and jojo look so sweet together.

Sick ASS people…sorry I have to say that bad word in here, but this really pisses me off. Who could do that to an animal? There are animals I am not particularly fond of: rats, skunks, etc, but I could NEVER imagine setting fire to one of them. People that have this capability need to be locked up and put behind bars with the key thrown away. I don’t care if it is a pre-teen or teen. If they do this they are WELL on their way to becoming a serial killer. If you can do this to a defenseless animal, you can do this to a human being. Thank God for people like this humane society who reached out to help, but even though there is a good ending, the story made me sick to my stomach and really pissed off. Is she a tripawd too?

What an AWFUL story!!! I just can’t believe someone would do that. I am so glad that Honeysuckle got adopted and she is now in the care of a person who will love and care for her like she deserves. And it’s great too that you get to spend some time with her. Enjoy your time keeping Honeysuckle and get all of the cuddling you can! She does look very sweet!

Well, there’s a special place in hell for the person/persons who did that to Miss Honey, and I hope they end up there sooner rather than later.
On the flip side, I’m so glad she’s found her forever home with folks that will love and cherish her. Sending a lot of love to Honey, her family, and your family for being such good people!

So good to hear and see that Honeysuckle has survived her horrific ordeal and is thriving. Sadly this happens and the abusers seem to get away with it. There was a high profile case in Baltimore from a similar incident in 2009 that finally came to trial last month. The brothers got off. Here is what really gets you, one plaeded guilty to 2nd degree murder last week and the other has a trail date for drug possession in May. They scourged to humanity.
